Tampon Tuesday started after a fateful visit to the London Food Bank -- 10 years later, it has grown and evolved to become a Canada-wide institution. And tomorrow you have an opportunity to make a difference and support the organization that inspired it all!
London's Tampon Tuesday event will take place on Tues. Dec. 10, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at the LSTAR office, located at 342 Commissioners Rd. A cash bar and food have been generously donated by Jack Astor's. The cost to enter the event is one package of feminine hygiene products, which will be donated to the London Food Bank as part of the Business Cares Food Drive.
Menstrual products are one of the most-requested, but least-donated items at local food banks. Whether you bring in one box or a case, your generosity is greatly appreciated and will make a difference to the people and organizations that are supported by the London Food Bank.
